The following sections describe how to submit database inquiry request for the Pesticide and Veterinary Drug MRLs and receive the resulting output in a selected output format over the Internet.

Select Database Inquiry Parameters:

Submit Inquiry, Reset, Change Data Collection

Submit Inquiry Button - When entered the database query definition is submitted for execution.

Reset Button - When entered clears all extraction parameter selections.

Change Data Collection Button - When entered displays the Data Collection Page where another data collection may be selected for query.


Configuring Spreadsheet Viewer of CSV Output

Perform the following steps to configure your spreadsheet to view extraction's CSV files with the Netscape Browser v.2.0:

Next time you click on the CSV file, your spreadsheet program will automatically start up and read in the CSV file.

Note that the automatic launching of the spreadsheet applications is not possible in DOS. DOS users should save their files to disk and open them from within their Spreadsheet.

Netscape will automatically save files to the default Netscape Working Directory if the user does not override the default by selecting another directory.

At FAO, The Netscape default save directory is the Working Directory in the Netscape Icon Properties. To change the installation setting (c:\usr\netscape) perform the following steps.
