Notes on the Provisional Agenda

Agenda Item 3a: Draft Working Principles for Risk Analysis for Application in the Framework of the Codex Alimentarius

The 17^th Session of the Committee advanced the Proposed Draft Working Principles for Risk Analysis for Application in the Framework of the Codex Alimentarius to Step 5. They were adopted at Step 5 by the 50^th Session of the Executive (ALINORM 03/3A, para. 71, Appendix II) and circulated at Step 6 by CL 2002/38-GP.

Agenda Item 3b: Proposed Working Principles for Risk Analysis for Food Safety

The 17^th Session of the Committee agreed to initiate the elaboration of working principles for risk analysis intended for application by governments. This was approved as new work by the 50^th Session of the Executive Committee (ALINORM 03/3A, para. 64, Appendix III).
