Item 1    Adoption of the Agenda: In accordance with Rule V.1 of the Rules of Procedure, the first item on the Provisional Agenda shall be the adoption of the Agenda.

Item 2    Matters Arising from the Codex Alimentarius Commission and the other Codex Committees: This item includes matters related to CCFO arising from recent sessions of the Commission and other Committees.

Item 3    Draft Revised Standard for Olive Oils and Olive Pomace Oils: The 17th Session of Committee discussed this item and decided to return it to Step 6 for further comments and consideration in the 18th session (Appendix IV of ALINORM 01/17).

Item 4    Draft Standard for Fat Spreads and Blended Spreads: The 17th Session of Committee discussed the item and decided to advance it to Step 5(Appendix V of ALINORM 01/17). This was approved by the 49th Session of Codex Executive Committee. The revised draft standard as a result of the discussion by the 17th Session of Committee was circulated with CL 2002/21-FO for comments at Step 6.

Item 5    Proposed Draft Amendments to the Standard for Named Vegetable Oils ( Super Palm Olein and High Oleic Acid Sunflower Oil, Inclusion of new data in Table 3 and Table 4 of the Standard:

The Committee at its 17th Session agreed to consider;

Item 6    Recommended International Code of Practice for the Storage and Transport of Edible Fats and Oils in Bulk:


Item 7    Consideration of amendment to the Recommended International Code of Practice for the Storage and Transport of Edible Fats and Oils in Bulk (Temperatures during storage, transport, loading and discharge); The 17th Session of the Committte agreed that the delegation of Indonesia should present a short paper indicating justification of its proposal to amend the Table 1 of the Code( temperatures during storage, transport, loading and discharge). The documet CX/FO 03/8 was submitted by Indonesia for the consideration by the 18th Session of the Committee.

Item 8    Other Business, Future Work and Date and Place of the Next Session: In accordance with Rule V.5 of the Rules of Procedure, any Member of the Commission may propose the inclusion of specific items of an urgent matter. Proposals to undertake new work on the elaboration of standards and related texts which shall be in compliance with the Medium Term Objectives and is subject to the approval by the Commission or its Executive Committee.

Item 9    Adoption of the Report: In accordance with Rule VIII.1 of the Commission's Rules of Procedure, the Committee shall adopt the report of its 18th Session, based on a draft provided by the Secretariat.
