13. Adoption of the Report  
(1) The Guidelines for the Production, Processing, Labelling and Marketing of Organically Produced Foods were adopted by the 23rd Session of the Commission and revised by the 24th Session of the Commission. New work on the revision of Section 5 (Requirements for Inclusion of Substances in Annex 2 and Criteria for the Development of Lists of Substances by Countries) and Annex 2 (Permitted Substances for the Production of Organic Foods) was approved by the 49th (Extraordinary) Session of the Executive Committee.
(2) The Draft Definitions, advanced to Step 8 by the 29th Session of the Committee, were returned
to Step 6 by the 24th Session of the Commission for further comments and consideration by the Committee.

Note: Delegates are kindly requested to bring with them to the meeting all documents which have been distributed, as the number of additional copies which can be made available at the meeting is limited.

The Ad hoc Working Group on the Proposed Draft Guidelines for the Production, Processing, Labelling and Marketing of Organically Produced Foods will meet on Saturday 4 May 2002 from 10.00 to 17.00 hours in the World Trade and Convention Centre, Port Royal Room C, 1800 Argyle Street, Halifax.
The Ad hoc Working Group on the Proposed Draft Recommendations for the Use of Health and Nutrition Claims will meet on Saturday 4 May 2002 from 10.00 to 17.00 hours in the World Trade and Convention Centre, Port Royal Room E, 1800 Argyle Street, Halifax.
